If you know anything about camcorders, can you tell me if this one is decent? I don’t need tier 1 quality- but I don’t want a total fuzzy piece of junk either… my digital camera is a 7.0 megapixel and takes great pics but does that have the same meaning in camcorders?

But I would stay away from no name brands like the one your looking at.
If your not filming a Documentary. You can buy a nice digital Camcorder for a good price, Your home movies will look good for years to come.
Talk to the sales person and ask the same question you asked here. You might also ask them about the warranty and how easy is it to service the camera after you buy it. Just in case you have a problem . You don’t want the thing in service when your on vacation.
