Vista Compatible Camcorders Laptops
What are some good camcorders?!?
I reallyyy want a good camcorder that is compatible with my laptop (windows vista) and its windows movie maker. I’ve been looking online for awhile and all i find are camcorders that have pretty bad reveiws. I DO NOT want a flip of any kind because they really are crap camcorders that only have a 3 month warranty 
I also really want one that has a pretty nice quality of video.
uhh thanks?ha. i think i said that i dont want a flip camcorder lol. i had one, and it was a peice of crap! sure, it had very good quality videos, but it has a 4x zoom and it malfunctioned and eventually it stopped working, in reviews i’ve heard people say this about their’s too, and it was out of the measly three month warranty. so like i said, flip camcorders suck 
What is your budget?
Pocket camcorders get up to around $250.
Entry level consumer camcorder take you to about $500.
Mid-high end consumer cams take you to about $1,300.
Prosume cams take you to about $300 and professional camcorders take you past that.
Once you set a budget range, see what fits from Canon, Sony, Panasonic and JVC… Ignore consumer DVD based camcorders. MiniDV tape continues to be best; (and what the pros continue to use for lots of reasons – and consumers should too, but don’t), next is flash memory then comes hard disc drive…
