Recording VHS to a DV camcorder?
I own a Sony DV camera, and I noticed I have to have a special VCR and cable in order to record from VHS tapes.
Are they any available DV camcorders that just use an AV cable into the VCR to record from a VHS tape?

You are looking for a Video through, this enables you to play analogue source (VHS) and play it through the camcorder to your computer. I suppose there is no reason you cannot put it onto tape
