DVC AND DV DIGITAL VIDEOCASSETTES AND CAMCORDERS?
Does anybody out there know if DVC or DV digital videocassettes can be used for professional Grade A Hollywood Production Filmmaking for use as a PORTABLE filmstock format with an equally PORTABLE camcorder and if whether or not this is the video equivalent to digital audio (DAT) tapes as compared to pro analog Reel to Reel Tapes? PLEASE reply ASAP. Thank You.
As the other person states, you can use the audio from a MiniDV tape, but it’s hardly professional regarding video.
