special camcorders
What’s a good camcorder?

I want a decent camcorder that isn’t all blurry when you record/watch it. Something around the range of 100-200 dollars? Nothing special I just want it to be good at recording with great quality and being able to put it on a CD or something so I can edit it or watch it. I know nothing of camcorders so does anyone wanna recommend me some? =]
Something with good audio and video quality too.

Have a look at entry level MiniDV camcorders from Canon, Sony, JVC and Panasonic.

EWA EWAEMVC1M Video Rain cape, cameras < 9

$109

The VC-1M raincape is a derivative of the well known VC-M raincape and replaces it. It was specially developed to match the requirements of the new camcorder generations and offers a lot of advantages compared to the VC-M raincape. The camera is attached to the front port, by means of an ewa-marine C-AF 52 adapter. This patented system attaches the cape to the camcorder and holds the front port in front of the lens like an optional, clear filter. Due to the new design, it is now possible to open a flap on the cape in order to use the cameras LCD-monitor. This ideal for tripod operation. The VC-1M raincape is manufactured from special PVC and has an integrated, optically neutral flat glass port. The VC-1M can be closed by means of press-studs at the bottom. The VC-1M raincape is designed for middlesized camcorders like for example the Panasonic GS250 or the Canon MVX250 as well as other similar camcorder modells till a maximum length of 21cm (8 1/4 inches).

 EWA EWAEMVC2000 VIDEO RAIN CAPE / V2000

EWA EWAEMVC2000 VIDEO RAIN CAPE / V2000

$198

The raincape VC 2000 is specially developed for Video. The VC 2000 raincape is manufactured from special PVC and has an integrated, optically neutral flat glass port. The camera is attached to the front port, by means of an ewa-marine C-AF adapter. This patented system attaches the cape to the camcorder and holds the front port in front of the lens like an optional, clear filter. Due to the new design, it is now possible to open a flap on the cape and to use the cameras LCD-monitor. This ideal for tripod operation. The VC 2000 can be closed by means of press-studs at the bottom. please note: you have to order the special adapter C-A 72 if you want to use this product with the Panasonic DVX 100 ! The patented CAF system was invented and developed by ewa-marine to allow the lens of a camera to be fixed to the front port of a housing or rain cape. It ensures that the surface of the lens and that of the housings front port are permanently paralell to each other, thus ensureing that there are nor refectionsor other optical disturbances between these two glass surfaces. Due to the CAF system, the front port has the same effect as a clear glass filter would have inevery day photography. The CAF system is composed of an filter-ring and a fixing-ring For video housings we generally supply the appropriate ring for the most popularcamcorders. Due to the enormous range of camcorders and the fact that some manufacturers chose obscure, new filter threads for every new modle, you might have to purchase an additional reduction adapter to fit the CAF system to the filter thread of your camcorder. These reduction adapters are availible from your photo dealer. A tip for users of Panasonic camcorders and their generics: In some cases it would seem, that the camcorder does not hav a filter thread! This is not true. For design reasons the manufacturer has fitted the camcorder with a dummy that is screwd into the tread. Turn and unscrew this lens surround (normally chromed plastic) to gain acess to the filter thread.
