Sony Vx Camcorders
I person knowledgable in camcorders?
is the ribbon cable easy to fix or cheap to get fixed on a sony vx1000? and would you recommend the vx 1000 even though it is older?
Ribbon cables are fitted in two ways; firstly they are soldered onto a printed circuit board, they are not so easy to replace. Secondly the cable pushes into a small connector, many laptops use this for keyboards. the cost of the cable is not much but because its for a camera that may make a difference.
