Can I install software on my camera?
Hi, I own a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 digital camera with video record capability. I was wondering if there was some sort of software that I could install onto it or its memory card that could allow more advanced options such as more image resolutions or noise reduction options. If not, could anyone give me a link to the instruction manual or a tutorial on reducing noise and/or increase resolutions and/or sharpening options please. I thank you all in advance!
I have a similar camera (S730). Sorry, you can’t install any software in your camera. You should be able to change resolution and sharpness using camera controls. In my model, resolution can be changed by pressing the delete button (trash can) in standby mode. Sharpness can be changed in the menu.
