this is my dream camera and i really want it
it would be more convenient and it would be the only way i could get the pink sony cybershot w55 is if it takes regular AA or AAA batteries
i know it takes rechargable ones but does it take the other ones too? other cameras are made to accept both, but does this one? PLEASE help me if you can…i need your references

This camera is fantastic. I have the silver one. As far as the battery situation goes, it does not take AA or AAA. This is good though. You don’t have to replace them, which gets expensive. It comes with a lithium ion battery (included) that you charge by plugging it into the wall.
