Is my digital camera salvageable?
Yesterday I was at a football game, and I put a water bottle in my purse. Somehow, it started leaking on everything…including my 3 month sony cyper-shot panoramic camera 
It still turns on. The touch screen still works. The only thing that seems to be wrong is water in the lens. It allows me to click and take pictures, but there is so much water that the pictures come out completely blank – they look like I just took a picture of the inside of a cloud.
Has this happened to anyone before? Is there any chance the camera will still work after I let it dry out? I have had the battery and card out for over 24 hours, and it is still not working.
Your ideas and suggestions would be very helpful, thank you so much.
Call Sony for advise–immediately. If they ask you to send in the camera, be sure to ask for an ESTIMATE,in writing, as many times damage to digital cameras in one form or another, render the camera not worth repairing.
