Digital Camcorder help?
Ok, so I went to buy an adapter for my digital video cameras so you can transfer my videos from the camera digital computer. The problem is that my computer recognizes the adapter, but can not recognize my camcorder. I am using Microsoft Movie Maker to take videos of my video cameras. If it helps, I am using a Sony Digital8 Handycam Canon ZR350 and MiniDV. (I tried downloading the driver software for Sony, but that does not happen, and Canon does not even have the software available for download) Basically, how I can make my videos on my computer?
It is necessary no firewire firewire to firewire to USB, it will not work. Adapters do not work. If your PC does not have firewire then you have to buy a card and install it. If your laptop does not have an empty bay for a firewire card, then you're out of luck.
