Sony Camcorders Vista Compatible
cant transfer camcorder footage to my vista pc please help?
Hi
I have a sony hdr-xr200 camcorder and what i want to do is download my video to my vista computer and save it or either put it on dvd but my vista computer does not recognise it
i have read somewhere that some Sony camcorders are not compatible what is my way around it as i dont want to keep all my videos on my camcorder not possible

You need to install the software program that came with the camera. It’s called Picture Motion Browser. That will allow you to copy the video from your camera to your computer. You’ll have to search the PMB menus to establish where (what file location) you want to save the video files. Then from there, you can play, edit, etc from that location.
