Converting a dirtold camcorder to pc..?
Okay, so. i have two camcorders. one is a panasonic (model pv-g539). the other is extremely old. (sony ccd-trv58).
i have an accessible laptop with (4-circuit alpha) fire wire. my panasonic uploads through this just peachy. but my dirt old camera with footage i desperately need isn’t equipped. i need to know what kind of adapter, cord, thingy, what ever it is i need, to get the sony camera up loadable to my laptop. i’m kinda an idiot when it comes to electronics.. i just like the filming part, so braking it down to simple terms would be nice. PLEASE HELP! i’m quite desperate, any kind of help is deeply appreciated.
You could dump the “footage” from the dirt old sony onto the panasonic, via A/V cables. Pretty sure most camcorders have an AUX input. Then upload the video from the panasonic to the PC.
