Recommended Camcorders For Mac
What would you recommend for a MiniDV Camcorder that’s compatible with mac?
I’m looking to buy a digital camcorder – miniDV, preferrably one that’s less than $400. What are some good camcorders for that price range and that will be compatible with my mac (iBook G4, iMovie ’05)? It has to take great videos of course (I don’t care too much about still images) and have a long-lasting battery life.

I chose the JCV GR-D770. It works great… I got it online at
best buy… I paid 259 on sale and got a free tripod.
It works perfectly with my mac g5.
It has a 1 hour battery life (about standard for mini dv cams)
I love it.
