I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. Any idea how to connect an MP3 player and switch the stereo to Aux mode?

The stereo is the factory installed 6 disc CD/DVD changer with the RAH code stamped on it. It has RCA jacks on the front, but the only thing the manual says is that MP3 players, camcorders, laptops, etc. can be connected to the entertainment system using those jacks in auxillary mode. But auxillary mode isn’t available when I switch through the various modes.
