Pros And Cons Camcorders
are flip camcorders good in general?
is the image quality good. Battery Life? Zoom? Pretty much tell me all the pros and cons of buying one

Pros:
- EXCELLENT battery life. Between 4-6 hours usually.
- High Definition (HD) recording
- Lightweight and compact
- Convenient pop-out USB plug
- Built-in editing software that installs to your computer
- Works with both Mac and Windows
- Durable. Since there are no moving parts (aside from the pop-out USB plug), there is nothing to break in the camera if it gets dropped.
Cons:
- No options. Just record or not-record (meaning, no white balance, exposure, etc…)
- Not much image stabilization. (Shaky hand = slightly shaky footage)
- Records on internal memory, NOT SD card. This can be seen as a pro or a con. A con because when you buy the camera, you can’t upgrade the amount of space later.
- They only have digital zoom, NOT optical zoom
Overall, fantastic little cameras for starters.
