The DCR-DVD610 is a better camcorder. Higher quality videos, and you have a choice to record to TWO recording formats! Either Mini DVDs or Memory Stick Duo cards. And it has a huge zoom. 40x optical. It’s a nice budget camcorder, better than the panasonic.
