Where to find the best deal on a Canon 7D?
I’m looking into getting a 7D, mainly for its filming capabilities, as it is considerably lower priced than some of the dedicated HD camcorders with the same quality (i.e. Panasonic hmc150…). But I also plan on taking a digital photography course this year, so I figured Id take a couple weeks to learn how to use the camera before school starts.
I’m not sure what the best deals are, however, so I would greatly like some input.

I have dealt with B&H Photo many times over the last six or seven years and have found their pricing and knowlede of the equipment to be first rate. One thing you have to remember about the internet is that if you see a price that looks too good to be true, it probably is. You want to compare prices online and check a couple actual camera stores. Often times, B&H Photo will also ship the equipment for free. It usually will say “Free Shipping” by the price of the item. I have a friend who has a 7D and she bought it for photography but uses the video feature for her work much more than she thought she would. I own the 50D and it works great for me. Another thing you may want to consider along with your purchase is how good of a lens you can afford. The better the lens the better the pictures and video. Good lenses are expensive so do your homework before deciding on which lens to purchase with the 7D. Good luck in your hunt and have fun shooting when you get your new toy……….
