Can Digital 8 tapes purchased in USA be used in European camcorders and Vice versa?
I’m thinking particularly of the PAL/NTSC diferences in AV systems. Maybe this has nothing to do with it.
If you mean the blank Digital 8 media then it does not matter where the tapes are purchased. If you are referring to tapes prerecorded with programs of different TV standards (PAL, NTSC, SECAM, etc) then you will find them all incompatible. The recorder itself lays down the appropriate format onto the blank tape during recording.
