does the digital camera, olympus stylus tough 3000, record with audio?
I want to get one for a friend for Xmas but I cannot find out if it records with audio. does anyone know if it does? and if it does do you have proof? because in the pics I see no place for a Mic.

It does have a microphone. It is built in. I have proof.
Sorry, I originally gave you the wrong link. If you go to the following link from the Olympus site on this model, it clearly shows the microphone on the back. It is above the navigation buttons (up,down,left,right) and to the left of the record button, and below the zoom in/out buttons. It’s clearly there. And any point & shoot camera that films video these days records the audio with it, because otherwise there would be no point.
