Should I upgrade from my Olympus Stylus 850 SW?
Olympus has always been one of my favorite brands and I’d prefer to stay in the normal ‘point and shoot’ digital camera area. (Although, the Stylus, in my view, is far from a normal point and shoot. Even though I would like to upgrade to a D SLR, I don’t see that happening any time soon..) Nevertheless, I do not have the cash to get anything over $350. Any suggestions for a rather serious, amateur, digital photographer?
Fuji makes several really nice super-zoom cameras that have many of the controls that an SLR has without the expensive price tag.
These 2 models will be in your price range. They will give you MUCH more range on the zoom and will accept any XD memory cards you may have with your Stylus 850:
