hi…i want to know the general features of a grafix card in detail pls help.. 
?
pls help me in -knowing in detail about latest grafix cards and their features.
im planning to buy one in the price range of below Rs 6000/-
here i want to know about the general and advanced features of a grafix card,
lyk for example if shader support is a feature,then what is ment by that and how it ‘ll affect us in practical.
i am usually handling pure HD videos directly frm camcorders..and planning to have good gaming..
im having 4 gb ram , core2 duo processor nd intel motheboard having slot- PCI E16x
pls help me as soon as possble best answer ‘ll be chosen soon..

The latest graphics cards have Direct x11 and Shader Model 5 support, which some games are now supporting. Not buying a card with these features now is in my opinion, a little pointless.
Also they support “Hardware tesellation”. This makes 3D models a lot more detailed. In future, game makers can make lower quality models, and let your computer graphics card increase the quality.

The HD 5670 is in your budget. It is a mid-range performing card, will easily handle HD videos and all current games will play on it. The most graphically heavy games may need a one or two settings dialled down to play smoothly.
Finally, you also need to consider your power supply. You ideally need a good quality 450w power supply as a minimum for a graphics card like the HD 5670. A good quality supply should have at least 25A 12v reading. Make sure your power supply meets these standards before purchasing the card. If your power supply doesn’t, you’ll need to buy a new one.
