Mini Camcorders For Kids
If I have old video cassettes, the mini ones that you use in camcorders how can I convert them to DVD? Please.
I have a friend who passed away and we have a bunch of stupid videos from when we were kids, her sister ask me if I could copy them for her, so that she could have them too. I really would like to do this for her, but how do I go about converting cassette to DVD? Is there anywhere I can pay to have it done? Thanks!
There are many kinds of cassette video tapes. If they are
vhs-c tapes, then you can get an adapter so the tape will fit in the adapter and the adapter would fit in a vcr, you would then need to get an analog video converter., either internal card or external such as the dazzle. It’s very easy to use and come with good software. You would hook your VCR to the analog converter, the dazzle and then hook the dazzle to your PC. The dazzle cost around 70.00 , but worth the money if you have a lot of VHS to tapes to convert.
There aren’t any converters for any other types of tapes. You would need to send them off to someone who has some special equipment, google video transfer and see what you can find. I think it might cost you around 25.00 per DVD. You might even check with your local cable company, ours does video transfer, call them and see if they do it and the cost.
