question about camcorder?

this is the camcorder i want. i’m a little confused where it says 1.07 mega pixel because i know my camera is 12.5 mp and my phone is 2 mp. wouldn’t 1.07mp be TERRIBLE quality? or does it work differently for camcorders? if it is, can someone explian how this works with camcorders?
The purpose of a camcorder is not still images so there is no need to incorporate a high-end still camera. If the camcorder is of good quality, you can capture still images from the video frames..
