What’s the best digital camera I can get?
Ok so I’ve owned 2 digital cameras in the past, currently have a sony.
I was contemplating getting a DSLR however they are too expensive!
I want to capture good quality photos, with good lighting and no noise etc. Maybe some amateur modeling shots which can later be enhanced with photoshop to look professional. However I need a good photo to work with! ‘m looking for the closest I can get to a DSLR, but I would rather a sleek design on it. So, what are the top of the range digital cameras. I’m looking to spend around £150 – £200.

The closest you can get to a DSLR is Canon’s S series. I owned an S5 IS for a while and would have kept it if I had a choice (needed a DSLR for training). It offers just as much, if not more, creative control than most DSLRs. I particularly like the zoom, which is super steady and crystal clear, and the 0cm macro feature. You can get one for £200 or less I think.
As for the sleek design, if that’s really important to you, I would go for the Axxx series of Canon (A550, A570 etc).
