Hi,
It happens that I had a 8mm camcorder back during the late 1990′s, yes those that operates with 8mm tapes! LOL
While on vacation I taped many places and family gatherings which are full of beautiful moments.
Thing is that I lost the camcorder and now I don’t know what to do because I want to play the tapes, but the new camcorders only play DVDs, and still the newer ones don’t even need DVDs or tapes, they are played by memory cards. The 8mm camcorders are outdated and I want to watch my old 8mm tapes.
This is very important to me because my father passed away last year and I want to revive those never-more-in- life – moments that I’d spent with him.
Please tell me if you have an idea of what can I do. I will invest in the latest camcorder, but I still want to watch the tapes.

Try going to a technical apparatus repair store. Do a search on the net for businesses in your area that may transfer from 8mm tapes to DVD for you.
