Kodak Digital Cameras Flash

Kodak z730 flash issues?
I have a Kodak EasyShare z730 digital camera, and I’m not sure whether something is wrong with it or whether I just don’t know how to use it. Every time I try to take a picture in Auto mode with the flash OFF, the little “shaking hand” icon displays and the pictures turn out blurry. On the other hand, if the camera is set to auto-flash, then it ALWAYS uses the flash, regardless of the lighting conditions.
Is this an issue with the camera? Or is there something I’m doing wrong? I want to be able to take normal pictures without flash. Thanks!
You may have your ISO setting on a lower setting thus the camera is selecting slower shutter speeds giving way to camera shake and blurry pics. Try adjusting to a higher ISO of say 200 or 400 and try the same pics at that setting without flash on and see if that helps. The camera has that built in alarm system to let you know the camera has selected a slow shutter speed to get a correct exposure and that warning means you need to either use flash or use a tripod with the timer.
The auto flash will pop up when in auto mode if the camera sensors indicate low light and will set the flash off to get a correct exposure. Hope this helps.
