Jvc Camcorders Tapes
October 14th, 2008

Why are SD cards so expensive ($30) as opposed to the old fashioned tape camcorder?
Tapes on my older camcorders ran from $2-$5 each. I’ve already depleted 2 SDHC cards (about $30 each) on my JVC Everio HD memory camera for about 2 hours of recordings.
They are reusable, you download them and then format them, but you can find sd cards cheaper than 30.00. Check on amazon.com Transcend, kingston and sandisk are all good brands. Since it’s a video camera then you probably want to stick with class 6.
