Jvc Camcorders Firewire
Firewire question (video)?
Hello. I have a JVC camcorder, bought around 5.4 years or less. Use these tapes as little nothing special and certainly is not recorded on DVD. In any case, the only way to upload the video, in addition to playing the tape in the camcorder itself and connect to a TV or burn it to a VCR, a FireWire connection to a computer. That's the only way I know of anyway. My laptop has no firewire port in which all and I do not think it will have a firewire card in it. What I can do to save the video on a DVD in any way? Are there DVD recorders have firewire? I know there are apparently the products out there where you can connect to something with your FireWire cable and this box connects to your computer via USB, but I have not heard anything positive and that they often do not work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You have not mentioned your laptop and the brand / Model, take a look on the side that should ea place where you can put a card to express something like one of them just plug and go. Your right on the Firewire USB charging more junk around, you can not USB (USB2) to maintain the data rate, and receive frames. RR
