Ir Lights For Camcorders
October 19th, 2006
what camcorders are compatible to the Sony HVL-HIRL IR NightShot and video light?
im really looking for a camera that records both day and night. i dont know anything about cameras.
i want to know what cameras are compatible with this. if you know any other camera that could record in the night ill be glad if you helped me out:)
Generally speaking, any Sony camcorder with “NightShot” or “SuperNightShot” mode. This means the camcorder has no built-in infrared filter and can use the infrared “light” to illuminate things in zero visible light. Most other manufacturer’s camcorders cannot do this.
For new camcorders, I *think* this means the HDR-CX500 series, HDR-HC series and the HVR-A1U.
