What would be the camcorder equivalent of dpreview.com ? I need a reputable camcorder-reviewing resource. By reputable i mean, with some tradition, where I can read also about the camcorders considered to be the best some years ago also, before the introduction of HD. I stumbled upon http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ with a google search. Is this the best in the business ? Others ?
Second question 
What would be a classic, ‘award winning’ digital camcorder, known for it’s (proven) high quality videos, image sharpness, color reproduction etc. I don’t need more than 640×480. I do need ‘the best in class’ at this however. Old, cassete-like ones excluded. I need to transfer the videos directly on PC. Also, huge sized, 1500$ + , professional cameras excluded. Thanx.
