How do i delete all of my files on my hp laptop?……10pts?
ok, 1 month ago i bought a hp g60-123cl laptop! nothing but problems so what do i do to delete all of my files that i have put in since day 1? im talking anything saved, passwords, history, i want everything wiped so clean that it has as much info as it did in the box. i have windows live one care on it, flight simulator and home and student 2007 are pretty much the only files maybe a few pics, and digital camera software are the biggest downloads. but im talking everything on it just as it was in the box. thanks, im getting a hp dv5, anyone have one?
and since i downloaded my home and student 07 i can only download 2 more times as well as my windows live onecare? kinda jipped…
for when you guys say everything, i saying delete everything until it was when i pulled it out of the box, i dont want to delete any of the computers files! can geek squad do it for me?
also i wont be selling this computer, i am returning it to the store!
your laptop probably came with a restore or recovery CD. just pop that in and follow the prompts. (sometimes HP laptops have a recovery partition on their hard disk and don’t come with a CD).
