Hi8 Camcorders For Sale
Will HI8 cassette tapes made from a Sony TRV36 play on a Sony TRV58?
I am so confused about not being able to correctly play Hi8 video cassettes on other Sony camcorders. My old Sony TRV36 is broken and I fould a TRV37 that I hoped to replace it online but found out that my tapes won’t work with that model. I haven’t had any luck finding a used TRV36 but someone has a TRV58 for sale and I don’t know if that model is compatable with my tapes ( I need to convert my old footage on to DVD). If anyone knows anything about Hi8 tapes working with only certain HI8 models please let me know. Thank you .
all hi8 tapes are interchangeable as long as they were recorded in the SP mode. if you recorded your tapes in the LP mode, then they will *only* playback in the original camcorder.
