HELP NEEDED! Cannon HV20 or HV30?
I am about to buy a cam. I’ve heard you get more bang for the $ with Canon. I want HD that is easy to use and not to pricey. I’ve read you get 24fps with the HV30 and the tape is easier to edit- I am just concerned about the noise and it is about $200 more money for about the same video quality as the HV20. Which one would you recommend and if you had “about” $600, give or take, are there any other quality camcorders HD that you would recommend? FYI- I really don’t plan on doing much editing…mostly just play back to a 52″ Sony HDTV. Are Sony’s Camcorders worth a look?

I got the HV20 on sale and have been very happy with it.
