Hd Camcorders Recording Time
HD Camcorder – Uploading to Youtube and editing in Windows Movie Maker?
Hi,
I am going to be buying a new camcorder soon (the one I use now is just a regular digital camera, and I use the video recorder on that… poor quality).
I see alot of people are buying HD camcorders, but I’ve also seen alot of people saying that they are too much grief when uploading to Youtube. Someone said when recording in HD format on your camcorder, and then you try and open it up in Windows Movie Maker it doesn’t recognise the file? or something like that. So you end up spending time converting files first etc etc.
I’m obviously after a camcorder with better quality than what I use now, but don’t want to buy a HD camera for £300+ and it’s just gonna be a pain in the backside.
So basically, when recording in HD is it as simple as opening up in Windows Movie Maker, adding some titles (like I do now), then saving and then uploading to Youtube?
Because HD is in a different format that windows movie maker doesnt recognise you do have to mess about converting it by downloading converters etc. so it is alot of messing about just to put a vid on youtube, i wouldnt bother with HD cause you can just get a normal one without the hassle, hope it helps ?:-)
