What kind of camcorders would you think they use for 1 hour short movies, like porno, documentaries, and etc?
You think they use mini dv cams, HD professional cams, or broadcasting cams? And what price ranges do you think the cams cost?
stuff like that is usually shot with MiniDV cause its cheaper and cuts on production costs and they are very mobile. They use prosumer cameras like the Canon GL2, Panasonic DVX100B, sometimes the Panasonic HVX200, Canon XL1 and XL2. Stuff like that. If they shoot HDV then the go for prosumer cameras.
Those cameras range from about $2,000- $8,000 depending on the model and such.
