Does anyone own a KODAK Zi6 HD DIGITAL POCKET VIDEO CAMERA CAMCORDER or something resembling it?

…because I want to know if the batteries will run out after using it with a 32 GB card. Or is there anyone that can tell me if this camcorder will run for 8 -12+ hours on the battery’s provided without running out of power, or can I hook it up (plug it in) to my computer or wall socket to do this?
Any suggestions for an inexpensive camcorder that with do this will be appreciated. Thank you.

It will not run on one set of batteries for 8-12 hours (no camcorders can do that). Even if you record in VGA, you may get 2 hours or less and if using the Ni-MH rechargeable batteries that come with it. The Zi6 comes with a A/C battery charger (does not use a USB port to charge). The memory card will not effect how much power is consumed. It sounds like you won’t be able to charge the cam often enough to keep up with your camera use. Take extra batteries (regular AA) and another set of rechargeables. That way you have the regular batteries with you and the extra set of rechargeables can be recharging when you’re out shooting. Get a couple of 8GB or 16GB cards instead of a 32GB card. That way if something were to happen to your camera or if you only had a 32GB card, then you’ll at least have video on more than one card.

The record button is on the back (center). You press it once and it starts. Press it again and it stops.

The Zi6 is a nice camera. It’s big brother is the Zi8.
