What AA batteries will last on my digital camera?
I bought a GE C1433 digital camera (the normal point-and-shoot kind). It runs on AA batteries and came with a set supplied by GE. It worked fine on the GE batteries, but I found that ones bought from the supermarket last less than 1 minute. The GE website says that it’ll only run on GE-supplied batteries and they do not appear to service my country. I tried Everedy super heavy duty AA batteries, which were slightly better, but still ran down after about 10 pictures.
Are there any types available from a supermarket which would work in it? Thanks.

Lithium
Alkaline
So-called Heavy Duty
You might also consider using rechargeables, again in order:
Li-on
NiMh
Nicad
Buying only GE batteries is like only buying tires at your car dealership. Of course, they’d love to lock you in, but it’s just a marketting ploy.
