Future Of Camcorders
What Camcorder? HDD or HDV or MiniDV for video compositing (I.E. Green/Blue Screen)?
Hi,
I’m hoping to purchase a new camcorder in the near future and hope to begin video editing and use FX such as video composting such as color keying with blue/green screen. However I am not sure which type to buy, I am after a good yet inexpensive camera, but have know idea which way to go, HDD, HDV of standard MiniDv.
Of course I do know that I will require a camera that has a good sharp quality with little noise on the picture, both other than that I have no idea.
Also any suggestions of camcorders would be good, please help.

Once you have a HD Camcorder, you will get lots of hd video files in form of avchd format(.mts, .m2ts, .mod format video files), then you may have to convert them to avi,flv,wmv,mp4 and some other common formats.
