Can I find a light that fits all camcorders?
I was wondering if there is a light that will fit on a camcorders handle instead of the hot shoe. I have an older model camcorder that doesn’t have one and cannot find any lights that work without a hot shoe.
Most video lights are mounted to an accessory shoe – you can get an accessory shoe bracket such as this for your older model camcorder:
