Does this camcorder look like a good buy – Ebay?

Please have a look at the video camera. I don’t know much about camcorders but I know it looks good and only costs £50. I’m always cautious when buying things off ebay so I just wanted to know other people’s opinions…cheers.

Having seen similar “no name brand” bargains on eBay over the years, they tend to be very cheaply-made Chinese knock-offs, with little-or-no Quality Control and even less of a warranty or customer support.
The free “P&P” (or Shipping & Handling here in the States) is usually because of the item being direct-shipped via surface post from China, with “Gift” marked on the label for Customs purposes.
If you find a UK-based address and phone number from the Seller, you might have more “teeth” in any after-sale recourse. Double-check the Feedback on this particular item from prior sales, if possible. Then use your best judgement.
For the equivalent money, you can probably find a decent used major-brand model from another UK-based eBay Seller. Nowadays, brand new camcorders aren’t much more in cost, so used prices should be dropping accordingly.
