Dvd Camcorders Low Light
SONY HXRMC2000U or HXRMC50U?
I have have researched both of these camcorders. Can anyone give me the main differences on both of these? Manual controls are important to me as well as being good in low light and decent sound. According to Sony website both of these cams can be recorded in HD or SD, and then SD can be burned to standard DVD. There seems to be some conflicting opinions on that one. Any info would be great..I will be using the chosen camcorder mainly for weddings, ceremony’s etc…some outside as well. Thanks

as you can see the 2000U will only record with a minimum of 3 LUX that may be enough for you but you will have to decide on that.
Always record in HD in the best possible quality, the reason for this is that when you render the video to DVD its going to be downgraded anyway so do it from the best quality. then if you customers decide to have HD video then you have it.
