Downloading From Camcorders
SONY HARDDRIVE CAMCORDER, no FIREWIRE (IEEE) but USB 2.0?
I am using Adobe premiere pro 7.0 for editing video from my camcorder, but in the latest harddrive camcorders there is no IEEE but only USB 2.0, Would the premiere pro accept a USB connection for downloading video/audio onto the computer?
sorry adobe premiere pro 2.0, got mixed up with aftereffects 7.0
The video file format in harddrive camcorders are .avi or mpeg?
Once you plug it into your computer, go to my computer and you should be able to drag the files out, but you may want to convert them into .avi’s first to avoid killing yourself later. You can try googling these, or put the files (if possible) into movie maker or premiere pro then render as avi files. Then import those into your premiere pro project and start editing. BTW, seeing that you have premiere pro and after effects, you DO have a DV or HDV camera, instead of just a HDD cam, don’t you?
