How and where do I get film from a disposable camera developed?

I had a few old disposable cameras lying around the house, dusty and long-forgotten (since we have a few digital cameras now).. I decided to take them out and take some ‘experimental’ shots, and I’d like to know how exactly I get them developed. (I was never the one to get film developed, my mom/grandmother always did it.) Do I open it up and take the film out, or just hand them the whole camera?

Also, where should I get it developed? (Target, Walgreens, CVS, etc. No Walmart near where i live sadly)

Thanks!
Thanks majutsu13! I’ve got another question though (sorry, hah.)
When I give them the whole camera, will they give it back, along with the developed shots? I’m thinking about turning it into a reloadable camera, as I’ve got some unused rolls of film as well, and I’ve heard about some interesting things you could do with disposables~

well, basically, you just drop off the entire camera at a Walgreens, or CVS, or any place that claims to have “I hour photo” somewhere on the building… any Walgreens or CVS should do it though. You just hand them the cameras, and give them some of your personal information, and then leave. Usually within the hour or a few days, they will either call you or you can just go in and pick up the photos.
Now-a-days they give you the option of having a disk or prints with your images on them, so it really is whatever you pick. Personally I stick with prints; I can look at them instantly.

Good luck, and hope your pictures came out well!
