does nightshot even come on digital camcorders anymore?
looking for one but a lot of models are discontinued. Something preferably with a hard drive or mini dvd/dvd. any suggestions?

Sony cameras that are modified are the best for nightshot and night vision purposes. A camera like the above is 100% infrared useage all the time, if an alternate infrared light source is used, the camera will go past 50 to 150 feet in total darkness.
