Digital Cameras Timers

How do you set the timer on a digital camera to take the picture after the selected amout of time?
I mean, you can set it to take a picture 3, 5, or 10 seconds after pressing the shutter button. I have a Samsung SL30, and I can’t seem to figure it out.
