What would be a great lens for a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi? ?
I want a lens that can take pictures from 2 feet away to however much….I am clueless on cameras and want a lens that I can buy for my Rebel for taking pictures of birds from my window, and killer whales at SeaWorld! XD So it has to be fast, and has good quality. Check out the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L. At f/4 it’s not the greatest lens for low-light stuff but it’ll certainly do what you want. You should be able to get it for around $700.
If the birds you want to take pictures of are small you’ll probably need an even higher reach. Try the Canon EF 70-300mm for around $650. Make sure that it’s the 70-300mm and NOT the 75-300mm.
