If U want to buy it at a regular store…
First, U need to decide what camera U want to buy. Check websites like http://www.dpreview.com or http://www.imaging-resource.com or http://www.steves-digicams.com to see what U might like.
Then, U are better able to make comparisons, because U can figure out what the prices should be.
Then, look for sales in the local paper. A camera might be on sale below the normal selling price.
Usually good places to buy offline in a real store are 1) department stores like wal-mart, target, Kmart, and Sears; 2) dedicated camera stores like Ritz Photo, Wolf Photo, or professional camera stores; 3) electronics stores like Fry’s Electronics or Best Buy.
Personally, I avoid Best Buy, because I think they are overpriced mostly. It’s important though to check for sales, because cameras go on sale all the time.
