Digital Cameras Statistics
Need growth statistics for last 5 years for laptops, digital cameras, e-mail users and blackberry / PDA’s .
Need to show market growth, division by geographical area would be very helpful. Anyone got an idea of sites that might give free info? Can only find (expensive) market research reports so far.

The easiest source for such data are the market research reports from paid services. I would at least search Forrester and see if there’s any useful information in the article abstracts.
If you spend some time, you can get the product, growth, and geography data for free. For each product you mention, make a list of the top one or two public companies in that space. Go pull their annual reports – available for free on their investor relations websites – and see what they say about the markets they are in. They will typically talk about how the market for their product is growing x% worldwide, that breaks down by a%, b%, c% by region, etc.
For high level numbers, check out http://www.nationmaster.com. It’s kind of like a wikipedia for economic stats junkies.
