Digital Cameras Smile Shutter
Which Digital Camera should I buy?
Okay, I’m hoping to get a new digital camera at some point, but I don’t know which one!
Basically there is too much choice, So I’ll give you a little list of the things I need.
Budget £110-£140 ($183-$233)
10-12 Mega pixels
SD Memory card
Lithium ION style battery
4-5x Optical Zoom
Face Detection
Image Stabilisation
Something along the lines of Kodaks “Smart Auto”
Macro feature
That’s basically all I need, I’d like the snazzy features like Smile shutter, and Blink detection, and Red eye removal also.
Any ideas will be appreciated, I’ve looked at a range of different cameras, I just don’t know what’s best!

That’s a lot of features.. A camera that is right for one person may not be the right camera for you, only you can decide which will fit your needs.
I’d suggest going to http://dpreview.com and using their search by feature function, search for cameras in your price range, with the features you want. Compare the cameras you find, using the side by side feature to narrow down your search. Read the reviews, and study the sample images.
Lastly go to a camera store, and handle the different models you have decided upon. Play with the controls, and check out the menus. Buy the one you feel most comfortable holding.
