what kind of camera should i bring at comic-con?

I’m going to the san diego comic-con on Friday and I don’t know what camera to bring? should i bring my regular digital camera (because its smaller and lighter) or my canon rebel xti (bigger)?

i’m having a difficulty deciding what camera to bring…pls help me.

and also where is the best place to park that is closest to the convention center?

this is my first time going so i have no idea. thanks!

bring both. your rebel for long shots. and the small for up close. their are a lot of picture opportunity and sometimes you might need one or the other. but if you must bring one–bring your small digital camera. it will be more convenient and it will be crowded. this is your first time–be prepared it is going to be hectic.

–parking –if you must park downtown near the convention center–and your only going for one day. i highly recomend you get their early. park your car between 3 am to 7 am–yes that early. (their will all ready be a line at the convention center to get in, people get their early) –and suggest you park at the ballpark parking (the padres are away this weekend) then walk to the convention center. at this time any parking lots downtown should have availability. its just the matter of the time. parking will be impossible during the afternoon. don’t forget we have other vacationers here as well -plus our locals coming to work. if you cant come that early and will be coming down closer to the afternoon. then i recommend you park at any of the train stops starting from Oceanside down towards San Diego. leave your car there and take the train down to downtown. assuming your going 5 south- because the afternoon traffic will be horrible. good luck.
